THE NEVERVERSE SERIES
Set in a dark dystopian future, or is it now, the story follows the struggles of five young women forced to navigate the mistakes of a fallen empire, what it means to be human, and the political machinations of those intent on using them to revive it.
With elements of steam and cyberpunk sprinkled liberally throughout the novel, The Never-Verse is not your typical science fiction fantasy.
“A Memory of Empire,” the first installment in a five-book series, takes the reader on a journey through the human condition, the seductive nature of power, and the dangers of blind faith in technology.
Influenced by such authors as Frank Herbert, Iain M. Banks, Robert Jordan, and many more, The Never-Verse and its companion series “Queen of Ravens” masterfully bridge the gap between pure fantasy and science fiction.
THE NEVERVERSE
A Memory of Empire
Death is not an end...
... but when the nightmare truly begins.
The year is 1913 and Jessica's only wish is to be left alone in her beloved Paris, not shuffled off to an uncle she hardly knew and an aunt she had never met.
Locked away and dreaming of escape, getting lost in the multiverse and its many island universes was not exactly what she had in mind.
Pursued by the Black Hand, Jessica must come to terms with her past and guide a ragtag group of misfits collected along the way.
But the mistakes of the Ellin and their shattered empire may do more than change her life... they could very well end it.
Follow Jessica in a gripping adventure through colorful worlds where reality grows thin and the fantastical becomes a nightmare.

THE NEVERVERSE Book Two
The Ashes of Eden
"We are beings of light, not darkness.
To give in is to be consumed."
Gorm would have blinked in surprise if his species were capable of the action. The pillar in the center of the chamber having remained silent for so many millennia, even the eldest of his hive species could not recall it ever commanding an audience. Lowering his bulbous head, Gorm knelt on the rough stone of the chamber floor, noting the skin of frost forming before he lifted his eyes to the glowing column of opaque stone.
The Ous had tended this sacred space for countless generations of Gorm’s short-lived species, waiting for this moment, and to all but an Ous, the troubled cast in the red eyes of his mind group would have gone unnoticed.
Eternal master, Gorm cast at the dark, writhing mass flickering deep in the crystal pillar, and lowered his hairless gray-skinned head again. We welcome your return, continued Gorm, touching his head to the frost-rimmed floor in unison with his kneeling mind group.
The dark mass in the pillar flicked and grew, chasing away what light remained in the edifice until it stood as a shard of nothing, a deep void so dark that reality seemed to bend in around it.
“Servant,” a cold voice breathed from the pillar of black. “Gather your people, and prepare to open the way,” the voice moaned so deep the floor of the chamber vibrated with each word. “Find the great rift, bring sacrifices and break the seals,” the voice ground on as a deep icy fog grew in the chamber.
Yes eternal master, your will is our will, Gorm cast back at the shard of void thrusting up through the heart of the temple chamber.
Join Jessica once again in her gripping adventure through colorful worlds where reality grows thin and the fantastical becomes a nightmare.

THE RAVEN QUEEN SERIES
BOOK ONE
THE GREAT GAME
Coming October 2026
The Middle Kingdoms are not simply old; they are truly ancient, rotten at heart, decrepit and coming apart under their own weight and misrule. For the ambitious, Shăr and the western empire are ripe for the picking. So, ever the master of the great game, and never one to let an opportunity pass, Ema, the Countess of Oshelila, seeks to guide its fall to her own ends. Zirana, the last true heir to the house of Mengia, is no one’s pawn, and least of all her esteemed aunt Ema’s. Surrounded by fools and flatterers, assassins, and power-hungry nobles, Zirana must fight not only her uncle, the Emperor’s court but the mistakes of her own mother to snatch the crown from her husband.
But nothing is ever assured in the great game of house, and in Shăr, one plays the great game or another will for you. After all, only one woman can be empress, and only one can wear the raven crown.

Combining fantasy with hard science fiction, “Queen of Ravens” spirits the reader away on a journey through the dark corridors of power, religious fanaticism, betrayal, and revenge, seen through the lives of those who would control all to their own ends.
For readers of Robert Jordan, Tad Williams, Joe Abercrombie, and Mark Lawrence, “Queen of Ravens” will immerse you in a richly garnished world, where not even one’s own family can truly be trusted, and the ghosts of an even older empire could see the end of all.

"Some doors should never be opened, others, thrown wide."
Life in Nam-lu was hard and often cruel, but for a thief like Sayeh, doubly so. The city was old, and like any old city, one generation built on top of another until there were two cities. One high above and the other deep below the earth. How or why this network of chambers and galleries came to be, Sayeh did not know or even cared to know, but it served as a sanctuary from the fanatics and temple guards that stalked the city above. Well, it did until either group ventured down here, and that was all too often in her opinion. With the Festival of the Summer Moon only a month away, the city streets were no less dangerous during the day now than they were by night. Neti, the Priestess Queen, clearly required sacrifices to the Night God, and her cultists were more active than ever this season. Why the gods demanded such things as sacrifice, Sayeh did not know or even cared to know. But it was all too often the poor and homeless that saw crucifixion at the river’s edge, or death at the summit of the great ziggurat. Not that any of it mattered to her, the gods took what they willed, and so would Sayeh. All that mattered was gaining some coin for food or stealing the food. Either one would do, and either way, she needed to eat and pay for her little family’s lodgings to keep them safe and away from the guards and cultists for a month.

Combining horror with fantasy and science fiction, “Blood Born” takes the reader on a journey into the darkest corners of power, religious fanaticism, betrayal, and revenge, seen through the lives of those who would live forever and those that simply wish to survive.
